Kraig brought us his 2013 Mustang GT500 for a few mods and a tune. Kraig’s GT500 is one of the cleanest we have seen and only has two thousand miles!
Kraig chose Stainless Works for the long tube headers and off road H pipe.
We installed this set of headers with the Stage 8 locking hardware option. They are a bear to install sometimes, but never having to worry about your header bolts backing out is more than worth it!
Next up we installed the JLT Performance Carbon intake. This piece really sets off the engine bay!
Now we strap her down to our Dynojet and let Corbin work his magic on the tune. We use HP Tuners to tune the GT500 as well as the Coyote Mustangs.
We did a baseline run on Kraig’s car, and it made an impressive 609hp/633tq. Still at stock boost levels Corbin was able to squeeze an additional 52 horsepower out of it! We made Kraig promise to bring the car back for a pulley and heat exchanger soon so we can crack 700!
