Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, is commonly used to weld sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloys. This process gives the operator greater control over the weld, allowing for stronger, higher quality welds. Because of TIG welding’s complexity, only a professional with years of experience should be allowed to perform this process. Our in house experts are professional welders from the Indianapolis area and continually hone their technique on a daily basis. Not only are their welds technically sound, but they also appear as works of art. We are literally welding Indianapolis.
Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), sometimes referred to as metal inert gas (MIG) welding or metal active gas (MAG) welding, was originally designed to join non-ferrous metals and aluminum but soon transitioned to steels because of the quicker welding times. Today, MIG welding is the most common industrial welding process, preferred for its versatility, speed, strength and ease of use. Our in house MIG welders were professionally trained and certified in the Indianapolis area. Their keen eye for detail and beautiful MIG welds are a sight to be seen.
All of our TIG and MIG welders have been certified here in Indianapolis for their specific process and many applications. If you require a specific certification that we don’t have we will obtain it for you.
